We get our funding for FHDC’s day-to-day operations from several sources:
- Property Management Fees
- Developer’s fees
- Facilities rental
- Foundation, corporation, and housing collaborative grants
- Government contracts
- Memberships

Who Qualifies to Live in FHDC Housing?
Families making less than 50% of the family median income whose primary income is from farm work (farm work, nurseries, canning and packing, forestry) may be eligible. See information on each of our housing locations to obtain further information about requirements.

What Role Do Farmworkers Play in FHDC Housing?
Through the Resident Association, residents participate actively in all aspects of property management and administration. The Resident Association in a non-traditional approach advises and recommends policies and programs that maintain the safety and high quality of facilities at each of the housing projects.
